More than 900,000 people are without power, and the weakening storm still threatens flash flooding across the South.
\n\nBlake and Barbara White had to postpone their wedding and the events leading up to it that they had planned near Destin, Florida, because of Hurricane Isaias. NBC News’ Brian Cheung spoke with the couple on when they found out and the journey back home.
\n\nA Dale County sheriff's deputy was pinned under a tree on a roadway before he was able to crawl away, a frightening ordeal captured by a dashboard camera and shared as a warning to motorists.

\n\nDuring the response, a tree crushed the vehicle as responders scattered. One deputy was caught directly under branches and the tree's trunk, but was spared in part by the SUV obstructing the fall.
\n\nThe department released a statement this morning saying the deputy "is back home with his family after being treated for minor injuries."
