CNN‘s Pamela Brown is turning her investigative skills on women’s health.
\n\nThe co-anchor of “The Situation Room” will on Thursday, October 8, launch “Body Language by CNN,” a new series for CNN’s “All Access” subscription streaming service. Brown will over the course of eight episodes shine alight on some of the absurd health experiences that play a significant role in women’s lives.
\n\n“When I experienced postpartum OCD after the birth of my second child a few years ago, I was searching for answers, and for a community I could relate to and learn from. I struggled to find the right resources, and I felt dismissed,” said Brown, who is also CNN’s chief investigative correspondent, in a statement. “Ever since, I have been deeply invested in demystifying and reporting the facts on the many under-discussed health issues we experience as women. ‘Body Language’ is a true passion project of mine and I’m so excited for women of all ages to tune in and know that they are not alone when it comes to navigating their health.”
\n\nThe series launches as traditional TV-news organizations are all working to meet younger audiences in non-traditional platforms that often include mobile, social and digital venues.
