Wildfires have scorched all of Washington state’s national parks
Ninety-five large, uncontained fires are encroaching on iconic destinations like Mount Rainier National Park in Washington and Mount Hood National Forest in Oregon.
The numbers are staggering: Wildfires this year have consumed more than 6.4 million acres of land across the country as of Thursday, with 103 new fires reported on Wednesday alone.
