\n\nIt's really just swung so far right
\n\nthat over the past decade or so, you know,
\n\nthat it's kind of unbelievable to think about.
\n\nAnd there are lots of different reasons for that, right?
\n\nLike, there's the political climate,
\n\nand, you know, the cultural climate and algorithms
\n\nenabling manosphere content and all of those things.
\n\nI mean, I am just sort of astonished
\n\nWhen I started out my career, like I said before,
\n\nlike I used to get online harassment all the time
\n\njust by virtue of being a woman on the internet,
\n\nwriting publicly about sexism and the internet.
\n\nAnd I used to get anonymous death threats,
\n\nand now people will just like write their full names.
\n\nAnd the last email I got, a guy included his LinkedIn.
\n\nAnd that seems to be like the real shift for me
\n\nis just that people feel so emboldened to say things
\n\nthat they would otherwise have said
\n\njust using their full chests and attaching their real names.
