Taylor Swift has recruited a couple of A-listers for her “Patient Zero” music video.
\n\nDakota Johnson and Colin Farrell will star alongside Swift in the video for the new song, which releases on Friday alongside her “Life of a Showgirl: The Encore” album. Swift directed the video, which will world premiere at the MTV VMAs on Sunday, where she is also being honored with the inaugural Artist-Director Award.
\n\nSwift dropped a sneak peek at the video on “CBS Mornings” Thursday, before sharing it on her social media accounts.
\n\nThe cinematic teaser includes clips of Swift and Johnson mirroring each other: across a bathroom sink, diving into water and standing together at a grave. A close-up shot of Swift crying, offering a great view at her engagement ring to Travis Kelce, follows. Farrell then steps out of a car and the three meet, all dressed in black. The video’s cinematography is by Oscar winner Emmanuel Lubezki (“The Revenant,” “Birdman”), who also shot Tom Cruise’s new movie “Digger.”
