Presley Gerber, the model son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, died Sunday at a rehab facility, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records. He was 27.
\n\n“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” a representative for the family told TMZ. A cause of death was not immediately known.
\n\nBorn and raised in Los Angeles, Gerber began his modeling career when he signed with IMG Models at 15 and went on to be featured in a number of campaigns, including a 2018 Pepsi advertisement alongside his mother. Gerber was photographed by Bruce Webber alongside his sister, Kaia Gerber, for CR Fashion Book in 2015, and starred in a Calvin Klein campaign and made his runway debut at Moschino’s Los Angeles resort show in 2016.
\n\nThree years later, Gerber was arrested for a DUI in Beverly Hills. He was sentenced to three years’ probation and ordered to complete a DUI program after the incident.
