The Netflix limited series “The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey” will premiere on Dec. 10, with the streaming platform also releasing a first look photo of Melissa McCarthy and Clive Owen as Patsy and John Bennett Ramsey.
\n\nThe series explores the unsolved murder of JonBenét, who died Christmas night in 1996. Her body was found in the basement of her family’s house just hours after she was reported missing, sparking public outrage and speculation.
\n\nEmily Mitchell stars as the titular role alongside Garrett Hedlund, Alison Pill, Shea Whigham, Owen Teague, Clifton Collins Jr., Angus Caldwell, Jaime Ray Newman, Rory Cochrane and Chris Bauer. The cast also includes Will Patton, Jeremy Bobb, John Billingsley, Josh Stamberg, Margo Martindale and Tzi Ma.
\n\nRichard LaGravenese serves as showrunner, writer and executive producer, with Anne Sewitsky directing and executive producing. The series was co-written by Harrison Query and Tommy Wallach, who also executive produce alongside McCarthy and Sewitsky. David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari and David Hutkin executive produce for for 101 Studios.
