We All Play God Every Day, Says CEO of De-Extinction Company Colossal Biosciences

I mean, I think we play God every day.

\n\n

I think when we, you know, overfish the oceans

\n\n

or drive a species like the Tasmanian tiger to extinction,

\n\n

I'd argue that when you take like cholesterol medication,

\n\n

you're playing God on an individual basis.

\n\n

and a stewardship to take care of this planet

\n\n

you know, the world while also inspiring kids.

\n\n

So I don't look at it as playing God.

\n\n

I think of it as just kind of doing our duty

\n\n

regardless of who you think gave us this planet.
