President Donald Trump’s approval rating among Latino voters sits at 27%, according to a new NBC News/Telemundo poll.

\n\nSen. John Kennedy, R-La., told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” that he is considering a run for president in 2028.
\n\n“My plans right now are to run for re-election, but as I’ve said before, if I don’t think I can be effective in the Senate anymore, I would consider it,” he told moderator Kristen Welker.
\n\nA slew of politicians on both sides of the aisle have acknowledged that they are considering running for president in 2028 or have declined to rule out the possibility. None, though, have formally announced yet that they are running.
\n\nLatino voters helped propel Trump back to the White House. Now, they are turning on him, according to a new NBC News/Telemundo poll — a shift that gives Democrats a major opportunity to capitalize in a 2026 election that could hinge on states and districts with sizable Latino populations.
