The judge told jurors that closing arguments in the five-week trial could begin Thursday.

The last witness took the stand yesterday. The prosecution’s witness told jurors that Clancy’s recollection of events was “inconsistent” with what she told other doctors and with the testimony of her former husband.

Plymouth County Superior Court Judge William Sullivan told jurors yesterday that they are likely to get the case by the end of the week.

\n\n

Closing arguments are expected to begin tomorrow, and deliberations could start Friday.

\n\n

“You’ve heard a lot of evidence, but you haven’t heard all of it, right? And like I said before, you haven’t heard the closing arguments of the attorneys,” Sullivan told the jury. “You haven’t heard the law that you’re going to have to apply to this. So you still have to keep an open mind.”
