The “2 Broke Girls” are getting back together. Variety has learned that Beth Behrs is set to guest star in the upcoming third season of the ABC sitcom “Shifting Gears,” which stars her former co-star Kat Dennings.
\n\nBehrs will guest star as Dr. Johnson, who is described as a beautiful emergency room doctor who treats Riley (Dennings) for a back injury.”
\n\nThe role also brings Behrs back together with “Shifting Gears” showrunner and executive producer Michelle Nader, who was formerly a co-showrunner and executive producer on “2 Broke Girls.”
\n\n“Shifting Gears” was renewed for its third season back in April. Along with Dennings, the series stars Tim Allen, Seann William Scott, Daryl “Chill” Mitchell, Maxwell Simkins, and Barrett Margolis.
\n\nThe logline for the show states that it follows Matt (Allen), “the stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. When his estranged daughter, Riley, and her kids move into his house, the real restoration begins.”
