FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Philadelphia Eagles running back Ja’Quinden Jackson was taken off the field in an ambulance after being injured on the opening kickoff Saturday night in a preseason game against the New England Patriots.

\n\n

The Eagles announced that Jackson had strength and movement in all extremities and had been taken to a hospital for further evaluation.

\n\n

Jackson was on the kickoff team and made the tackle on New England’s Lan Larison but laid motionless seconds after the play was over.
