President Donald Trump reacted to Fox News’ surprise announcement Thursday that it has parted ways with Maria Bartiromo, who had been an anchor on Fox News and Fox Business Network for more than 12 years.
\n\nFox News did not provide a reason for its dismissal of Bartiromo, a former prominent CNBC anchor who joined Fox Business in 2014. She last appeared Fox News on Aug. 9.
\n\nIn recent years, Bartiromo, nicknamed “The Money Honey” during her two-decade tenure at CNBC, has become increasingly enamored of Trump and receptive to various MAGA conspiracy theories.
\n\n“I can’t believe Maria Bartiromo is no longer going to have her great show(s) on FoxNews/Business,” Trump wrote in a post on his Truth Social account Thursday evening. “Three different shows, always number one. Maria is a total professional, and a true warrior. Her fans, of which there are many, will not be happy. God bless you, Maria! President DONALD J. TRUMP”
