Cindy Crawford is paying tribute to her son, Presley Gerber, who died in September.
\n\nFor the first time since his death, Crawford addressed the tragedy in an Instagram post shared Sunday. The mom of two wrote that the family is “beyond heartbroken to lose our beloved son and brother.”
\n\n“We feel so blessed to have had Presley in our lives for 27 years. He is a sweet, beautiful soul who loved and is loved, now and forever,” she wrote in the Instagram post. “We are so proud of how he showed up in the world, with kindness and vulnerability.”
\n\nSupermodel Crawford and her husband, businessman Rande Gerber, also have a daughter, model and actor Kaia Gerber, who is 25.
\n\nPresley Gerber died Sept. 20 at a rehabilitation facility, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner. The records show that the cause of death is pending additional investigation. No further details were provided.
\n\nIn her post, Crawford thanked those who showed the family support amid the difficult time.
\n\n“We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from so many who know and love our family and even strangers who feel our pain,” she wrote.
