Billy Bush, the longtime entertainment-news correspondent, is expected to join Fox News Media as a contributor, a potential sign that the outlet is growing more eager to cover the worlds of celebrity and popular culture with more depth.
\n\nBush’s new role is expected to be unveiled Tuesday, and he is slated to appear on Fox News Channel‘s “Jesse Watters Primetime” in the 8 p.m. hour. He is expected to appear across multiple Fox News Media platforms.
\n\nBush has covered Hollywood for years, most famously as the East Coast correspondent for “Access Hollywood,” but also as a host for “Extra.” He had a short stint as a co-host of the third hour of NBC’s “Today.” In recent years, he has gone the independent route, hosting “Hot Mics with Billy Bush,” a digital program that looks as sports, politics, entertainment, technology and popular culture. He is expected to continue with his own ventures.
