WWE legend Ric Flair was hospitalized after falling outside of a Florida restaurant while dealing with a blood clot in his leg.
\n\nThe 77-year-old retired American professional wrestler, whose real name is Richard Morgan Fliehr, said in an Instagram post Saturday that he spent the night in a Tampa hospital.
\n\nFlair had fallen outside a Wagamama restaurant in Tampa on Friday, cutting his head and eye, TMZ reported.
\n\n“Thank You All For The Messages And Prayers! I Will Get Back To You Each Individually As I Get Stronger,” Flair wrote in a post Saturday. “Thank You To All The Tampa General Hospital Staff And Doctors That Put Up With Me Until 4:30am. I Appreciate You All And Thank You For Everything You Did For Me!”
\n\nThe wrestling icon said he’s on the mend.
\n\n“I Am Focused On My Healing And Recovery Right Now,” he said, adding, “I Will Be Okay!”
\n\nHe shared a photo of himself smiling with a patch covering one of his eyes.
\n\nHis daughter, Charlotte Flair, a WWE wrestler, joked on X about that fall, saying: “Not my dad telling the doctor he fell bc of warrior dropping him on his head…(ps: he’s going to be ok).”
