\n\nPeacock subscribers were hit with another rate hike over the summer, with prices for the NBCUniversal streaming service rising for the fourth time in four years. The price hike came on the heels of Peacock dumping its free trial for new users, joining the ranks of rival streamers like Paramount+, Hulu and HBO Max, all of whom also got rid of their free trial offers.
\n\nBut there’s now a way to score a discount on Peacock, as well as take advantage of a free trial, though you’ll have to look elsewhere to claim the latter. Amazon is currently offering a 7-day free trial to Peacock through its Prime Channels hub.
\n\nThe deal gets you access to Peacock Premium Plus for free for one week if you sign up through Amazon. Premium Plus is the ad-free streaming tier of Peacock, and now costs $19.99/month (up from $16.99/month earlier this year).
