Nintendo, for instance, says customers agreed to tariff-related price increases when they made purchases — and therefore aren’t entitled to refunds.

Consumers paid higher prices on everything from furniture to flip-flops because of President Donald Trump’s tariffs. But they’re likely to come up empty-handed if they’re looking for a cut of the refunds paid to companies.
