Selma Blair, who is accused of being physically abusive on a weekend flight and kicking an officer who took her to the hospital and a nurse after, was arraigned Monday in New York City on two counts of assault.
\n\nThe “Cruel Intentions” actor is accused of kicking a Port Authority police officer, and later a nurse at a hospital, after she was removed from the Delta Air Lines flight to an ambulance around 11:50 p.m. Sunday, according to a court document filed in Queens County.
\n\nBlair, 54, was arraigned on two counts of second-degree assault Monday evening, and bail was set at $20,000 cash or $60,000 bond, the Queens District Attorney’s Office said.
\n\nTwo attorneys for the actor did not immediately respond to emailed requests for comment Monday night.
\n\nIn court, Blair’s attorneys said that it was due to a medical emergency, and that she has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and Parkinsonism, pool video of the hearing showed.
