Variety announced today that Olivia Rodrigo, KATSEYE, and SIENNA SPIRO will be honored at its 10th Annual Hitmakers Celebration in Los Angeles in December.
\n\nOlivia Rodrigo will receive the Songwriter of the Year Award; KATSEYE will receive the Group of the Year Award; and SIENNA SPIRO will receive the Visionary Voice Award.
\n\nVariety‘s Hitmakers event and its companion issue acclaim the year in music, honoring the songwriters, producers, publishers, managers and executives behind the 25 most-consumed songs of the year, according to Billboard and Luminate charts. The celebration culminates in an invitation-only brunch in Los Angeles on Saturday, December 5, with TikTok, the world’s leading destination for music discovery and cultural connection, serving as the event’s Premier Partner.
\n\nOlivia Rodrigo has become one of music’s most iconic voices, and turns heartbreak and growing pains into generational anthems. Her 2021 debut album, “SOUR,” launched with the record-breaking tracks “drivers license” and “good 4 u,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and won her 3 Grammy Awards for best new artist, best pop vocal album and pop solo performance. Rodrigo followed up “SOUR” with “GUTS” in 2023 and “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love” in 2026.
