Norman Reedus is set to star alongside James Marsden in the upcoming Apple TV series “Disavowed,” Variety has learned.
\n\nThe show was originally announced back in May with Marsden in the lead role. Exact details on Reedus’ role are being kept under wraps.
\n\nThe show is based on an original idea by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway. The logline states that it “follows legendary CIA Case Officer Brad Griffin (Marsden), who is abruptly fired in the middle of a global hunt for an elusive assassin responsible for killing his colleague. Disgraced and outcast from the world of intelligence, all bets are off when Brad decides to go after the 15 million dollar federal bounty on the assassin’s head.”
\n\nReedus’ best known TV role is that of Daryl Dixon in “The Walking Dead” franchise. He was a main character in the mothership show for 11 seasons before leading his own spinoff, “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.” The fourth and final season of that show is due to debut in 2027. In film, Reedus is known for starring in features like “The Boondock Saints,” “Blade II,” “The Bikeriders,” and “Ballerina.” He has also played protagonist Sam Porter Bridges in both “Death Stranding”…
