The body of a missing 63-year-old grandmother from New York City was found near Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, police said Friday.
\n\nPolice said security camera footage showed that Alisa Goods had fallen down an embankment and collapsed and couldn’t be seen from the adjacent roadway, Wayne Newton Boulevard.
\n\nHer body was found in a drainage ditch near a parking structure Thursday after someone called to report a body near the airport, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a statement.
\n\nThe security video is from Aug. 8, it said, the day Goods’ family said she went missing in Las Vegas while visiting a friend. Goods was from Brooklyn, family has said.
\n\nAlana Calloway, Goods’ niece, said her aunt was visiting a friend in Las Vegas and was headed to a pharmacy before she disappeared.
\n\nHer family said that after her disappearance, someone using her phone number texted relatives to ask for help in the form of bitcoin or a CashApp transfer.
