“Ninjago Legends: Duskfall” is premiering in Korea this weekend ahead of a worldwide release on Lego’s YouTube channel.
\n\nThe anime-style shorts feature some of “Ninjago’s” most beloved characters as they encounter new challenges and new battles while bringing back some familiar voices from the original show as well as “Ninjago Dragons Rising.”
\n\nThe series of three interconnected shorts, each three-minutes long, premiered Friday at a “Ninjago Legends” Duskfall” fan event at the Park Mall Yongsan in Seoul. The shorts will be released on the Lego Group’s YouTube channel on Saturday, Sept. 19.
\n\nThe three shorts are titled “The End Begins,” directed by David Cazeaux and Charles Lefebvre, “Terminus,” directed again by Cazeaux and Lefebvre, and “Epilogue,” directed by Cazeaux, Lefebvre and Hugo Cierzniak.
\n\nAndrew Francis reprises his role as Cole alongside Kelly Metzger as Nya and Vincent Tong as Kai. Also returning to the franchise are Brian Drummond as Diviner and Runt, Adrian Petriw as Scott and Sabrina Pitre (the voice of Sora in “Dragons Rising”) as a reporter.
