Nicki Minaj marked Election Day with a seemingly AI-created graphic of horror movie icon Chucky in a pink suit with a pin that reads: “Vote Red.” The Republican messaging was hardly a surprise given the rapper has closely aligned herself with Donald Trump and his MAGA fanbase in recent months, but one person who staunchly opposed to her X post was “Chucky” franchise creator Don Mancini.
\n\n“IMPOSTER,” Mancini replied in all caps to Minaj’s use of his killer doll (via Rolling Stone). “CHUCKY IS PART OF THE BLUE WAVE THAT WILL WASH AWAY ALL THE CORRUPTION.”
\n\nIn a standalone post on his own profile, Mancini rejected the idea of Chucky being MAGA-pilled by telling his followers: “Chucky has a trans kid. Chucky protects the dolls. Chucky is anti-ICE. Chucky says ‘A BLUE WAVE is coming, as BLUE as my fuckin’ eyes!’”
\n\nMancini also posted a photo of a Chucky doll with blue hair instead of his trademark reddish locks and wrote: “Too bad, Nicki! No AI, by the way!”
\n\nThis is not the first time Minaj has used Chucky on social media. She used an image of the killer doll in January when attacking journalist Don Lemon over his coverage…
