Catherine Zeta-Jones‘ highly anticipated thriller series, “Kill Jackie,” has set a premiere date on Prime Video.
\n\nThe Fremantle and Steel Springs Pictures production will release all eight episodes Oct. 2 on the streamer in the U.K., Ireland, Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Canada. The series will air on AMC+ in the U.S. this fall, but has not specified a release date yet.
\n\nBased on the acclaimed novel “The Price You Pay” by Nick Harkaway, writing as pseudonym Aidan Truhen, “Kill Jackie” stars Zeta-Jones as a former international drug smuggler turned art dealer whose past comes back to haunt her.
\n\n“Just as life starts to feel a little boring, it takes a sudden lethal turn when she discovers that The Seven Demons, a squad of the world’s most terrifying hitmen, have been hired to kill her,” the series’ official synyopsis reads. “Assuming someone from her past is behind it, Jackie unleashes her old instincts and embarks on a wild, dangerous game plan: to take down The Demons one by one before they kill her. However, she soon realizes her own demons are much more terrifying than the ruthless killers on her trail…and her buried secrets lead her closer…
