Noah Jupe will be the latest actor to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the “Hamnet” and “A Quiet Place” star tapped to play a top-secret role in “Avengers: Secret Wars.”
\n\nThe superhero team-up movie, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and produced by Marvel chief Kevin Feige, is the follow-up to “Avengers: Doomsday.” That movie doesn’t debut until Dec. 18, but production on “Secret Wars” is set to begin later this year (ahead of a Dec. 17, 2027 release date), kicking casting rumors into high gear.
\n\nMarvel had no comment on Jupe’s casting.
\n\nAs a child actor, Jupe garnered attention for his standout turns in the TV series “The Night Manager” and “The Undoing,” before breaking out on the big screen with “Honey Boy” (for which he earned an Independent Spirit Award nomination) and the “Quiet Place” movies. The British actor recently appeared in Chloe Zhao’s Oscar-winning film “Hamnet” alongside Paul Mescal, Jessie Buckley and his younger brother, Jacobi Jupe.
