Comms executive Shari Rosenblum is departing 20th Television and 20th Television Animation after nearly three decades, Variety has sadly learned.
\n\nRosenblum most recently served as the SVP and head of publicity for Disney Television Studios’ 20th Television and 20th TV Animation, a role she took on in 2022. She originally joined 20th Television when it was still 20th Century Fox Television prior to the Disney merger, serving under Dana Walden and Gary Newman. She is leaving as part of voluntary early retirement offers extended to longtime employees earlier this year.
\n\nIn a note to staff announcing Rosenblum’s departure obtained by Variety, Disney Entertainment Television publicity EVP Candice Ashton wrote, “Few people have shaped the voice and reputation of our studio the way [Rosenblum] has. Shari is a consummate pro, and an advocate and champion for so many of our teams and creative partners.”
