NBCUniversal’s Peacock app has launched AI-generated title “Public Eye,” a serialized detective mobile game from the Dick Wolf-backed Wolf Games.

Per the description for the game, players take on the role of Officer Logan Dine, “a patrol cop secretly investigating his uncle’s murder in the crime-ridden streets of Caldera City. Every episode features narrative storytelling with puzzle-driven gameplay, inviting players to search animated scenes for clues, ultimately revealing a conspiracy that runs through the entire police department. The AI-generated visuals paired with Wolf Games’ storytelling expertise create a seamless experience that allows users to drive the story forward themselves.”

The title was first announced last October, when Wolf Games (founded by Andrew Adashek, Noah Rosenberg and Dick Wolf’s son, Elliot Wolf) launched a partnership with NBCUniversal.

Wolf Games’ “Public Eye” is the latest game to join the Peacock app, which currently includes “Law & Order: Clue Hunter” (also from Wolf Games), “Jeopardy! TODAY” and “Wheel of Fortune TODAY.” According to Peacock, 40% of Peacock mobile users engaged with a game on the app in June and early insights show “Law & Order: Clue Hunter” players are averaging more than six minutes a day in the game.

“’Public Eye’ sits right at the intersection of two trends users are excited about: microdramas and interactive storytelling,” NBCUniversal Media Group senior vice president of product UX and design John Jelley said. “This new experience invites fans to step into the story rather than simply watch it unfold. Through our work with Wolf Games, we’re exploring how Peacock can bring together video, gameplay, and storytelling in a single destination, creating more opportunities for audiences to engage with the worlds they love throughout the day.”

“’Public Eye’ was built to be incredibly easy to step into,” Wolf Games co-founder Elliot Wolf said. “Within seconds you’re spotting clues, meeting characters, and feeling a high-stakes story come together under your fingers. It’s a new world of crime and betrayal that keeps you on the edge of your seat and coming back episode after episode. Immersive and cinematic, but as easy to pick up as your morning puzzle.”
